How many kills do you think the sniper will get before he gets caught?

I think it could get up to 20. The cops seem to have no clue. I have never seen so much media coverage with so little evidence. "We have narrowed it down to a guy with a rifle." The guy even left a note saying NOT to give the tarot card to the media and what do they do? Give it to the media. Retards.
 
have you ever read the book aboutthe zodiac killer... he never got caught... they ha so many copycat killers that they have no idea if they got the right one or not
 
He wont quit now. He just did one last night. Looks like he plans to get 1 a day. If I lived in that area I would ducking down behind my car while pumping gas!
 
I hate copy cats, they can't be original so they copy someone else out of a book or a criminal on tv, mind you I hate criminals aswell but copycats just make more crimes. Like when one guy kidnaps alittle girl/boy 5 other guys kidnap alittle girl/boy. It pisses me off, I saw that a few months ago and it sucks. More people get hurt, all the backwoodbillybob faggots come out of the woodwork.

Yep, read that one. They never caught the guy, although there were at least two suspects.

If this guy keeps it up, he will get caught. His arrogance will eventually be his demise.
 
People are skittish as hell around here. Everyone stares at you real hard when you pull up to a red light and get in and out of stores real quick, Right now would be the time to own a full service gas station. People hid behind bus stops waiting for buses.

This guy has a long way to go if he so chooses to. He may be crazy, but he is smart. There is no telling what area he will strike in next, and the cops are dumbfounded. He may become cocky and led them to himself, but I am not sure of this. The card and casing, I am sure they did not contain any prints, he is too smart for that.

They have over 1700 leads, that is as good as having none in my opinion.

I'll tell you one thing. This guy will probably turn out to be nothing like any of the profiles these so-called experts are painting. The profiles are wrong 9 out of 10 times.

Seriously, it seems the cops have no clue on this one. I can imagine the "leads"- probably something like this: "Um...yeah is this the cops? Well um, I ahh saw this um white van yesterday and it was driving on the highway".

Yeah, now they are pulling over every white van that they see, there are alot of white vans. That is how much of a lead they have, a white van, and it is probably sitting in the bottom of the Potomac by now. But they will keep on pulling over white vans.

They are actually getting closer to catching him though. They have discovered a pattern. Hi only fires one shot, it is on random people who have nothing in common, no motive, at busy areas and is not afraid if a cop is across the street. I'd say they are closing the ring around him. Now it just goes from Maryland, D.C. and Virginia, they have him geographically pegged and have pinpointed the next place of attack by a few hundred mile radius.
 
Or he or they could just go elsewhere. Maybe get 10 up there and head south to hit up Miami or who knows. If it is terrorists it makes sense to just have 1 sniper team at a time since the media will think it is a nut job. If they pulled out the stops and had 5-6 sniper teams around the country it would sink into martial law pretty quick and they wouldn't be able to kill as many people. If they are willing to fly a plane into a building they are sure as shit willing to snipe people.
 
nav, no one knows that he isn't doing just the things you mentioned. The white van thing is a long shot. I am sure he has changed vehiclesm why wouldn't you. Use a white van, make sure someone see's you and then change vehicles. Do you know how many white astro vans there are? Quite a few, its probably the most common vehicle besides the camry.
 
He will be caught when our government wants to catch him----Hell all they have to do is use satelites(like in afgan).....These things can be used to set up numerous points all around the washington area. As soon as heat from a gun goes off ---these things take pictures of the area and this guy would be caught in a hour.....

But do they want to use billion dollar equipment to catch a shooter? I doubt it--------With the economy the way it is---a little fear in the hearts of americans sets up perfectly for what Bush wants to do in Iraq.......
 
I think he was close to being caught last time. They shut down the freeways, and started searching vans. He must have just barely slipped through, (if he is driving a white van that is).

So I think they'll catch him soon, so my guess will be 12 total victims with 10 kills and 2 wounded. He's at 10 victims with 8 kills right now right?

The Marines dumped Lee Harvey Oswald. He supposedly shot the president 3 times (one head shot) while in a moving motorcade, using the worst weapon system on the planet.

So go figure. The Marines have had a few that have racked up 100 plus kills in Vietnam. One Gysgt Carlos Hathcock, was at 97 with probably close to 500 unconfirmed (they didn't go down to the body and take notes as was required at the time to record it as confirmed) He had a bounty on his head worth the equivelant of about 500,000 US at the time. He founded the Marine sniper school, holds the record for the longest kill (2500 yards) It was almost broke in Desert Storm.

a Canadian sniper broke it in Afganhinstan (check SOlider of Fortune, June Issue I think) with a McMillian Tactical .50 at 2560 yards I think (head shot).
 
Oswald didnt shoot the president lol...he was a poor shot in the military, a radar operator who was taught russian right before he 'defected' to russia, he lived like a king in russia before he was admitted BACK into the united states.

You're wrong, to be confirmed a spotter had to have seen the kill.

Did you take notice of what happened in Bali over the weekend? I'm sure those people weren't worried about them either.
 
No I am not wrong, just witnessing the shot did not confirm it. Because many a mission was done solo with comfirmed kills. You were required to inspect the body to confirm the kill and retrieve any pertinant info. That is why there are many probables. Especially with a spotter. Hathcock one time took out about half a company over several days to prevent an attack on Marines before their reinforcements arrived. All of those hits were witnesssed by his spotter, but none were recorded as confirmed, just probable.

Each service has its own requirements for a confirmed kill and they have changed since the Vietnam war.
 
I think he will lay low for awhile. He made a statement and the risk now is quite high. Depends on funds available too. He must change vehicles but may not be able to afford to.

This would be so easy to copycat. I hope it doesn't catch on. Makes a bad case for private gun ownership. :(
