in terms of P.O. Boxes......I was wondering if there was any federal law or regulation stipulating how many P.O. Boxes an individual is allowed to occupy at a time?

If there's a set number, nobody seems to know about it. In the steroid cases I've seen involving multiple post office boxes, there were never any charges filed in this regard. Of course, opening up a variety of boxes for the illegal purpose of receiving mailed anabolic steroid parcels could be considered mail fraud.

I've not seen NEARLY the number of federal cases Rick has... but it seems to me, if the mail system is used... mail fraud is almost always tacked on... something about "frauding" the US Government...

Depends on what size and who you rent it from. In the United States, PO boxes are cheaper than private companies like UPS (formerly Mailboxes Etc.)

A PO will run you around $20/yr.
A private addy may run around $10/mo.
