I was just wondering how long does it take for a source to respond to a email from a new customer.

depends on the source...i know sources that get hundreds and hundreds on e-mails a day...and it takes them 2-3 days just to get through them all.

Some will not respond to a new customer unless they have some reason to believe that you are trust worthy. Such as a reference.
