How long will my HCG last?

Hi all,

I'm trying to understand the whole issue of using BAC water rather than just the sterile water that usually comes with HCG. This is the first time I've used it (hcg) and already mixed it up and put it in the fridge. I got 5000iu (in a sterile vial, along with 5ml of sterile solvent in another vial). From what I've seen with just the regular sterile water it only lasts around 7 to 10 days, is this true? What makes the life so much shorter than if mixed with BAC water?

Also, is there a way of telling once it is time to get rid of it? What would happen if I continued to use it for up to 4 weeks with the sterile water? It has been about 7 days thus far.


Any advice/info is appreciated.

Not quite sure but I know with bac water it will last 4 weeks.

Does anyone know? Can I continue using this or should I throw it away?

the sterile water it comes with is meant for immediate use so that any impurities intoduced to it don't have time to affect it by the time it's been used. there is no alcohol in the sterile water to keep germs from living once it comes into contact with any (from the air or whatever). bac water however contains alcohol to keep any germs or microbes from cultivating at all. this allows the delicate hcg to remain undamaged hence why it lasts longer.

some people say that anytime you open and use a vial of bac water it's useless for anything else after that. i don't believe this to be true because of the antimicrobial/bacteriostatic solution added to it which is specifically meant to prevent anything from contaminating it.

sterile water is simply water that has been sterilized and stored. it could also be some kind of saline solution. either way once it's exposed to germs and whatnot it's pretty much compromised.

Thanks for the info.. Not sure but it said "sterile SOLVENT" on it so I assume it's just sterile water.

I guess I will just throw it out then Where's a good place to get BAC water from?
