Times may have changed with all the coverage over the past year, but when I got mine done 18 months ago, they didn't check for that stuff.

What they can see, however, is a messed up lipid profile or high cholesterol that would put you into a "high risk" category and therefore raise your premiums. If you're coming off cycle, get bloodwork done from your doc first before you apply for a policy.
