How Long Does ES Vicodin Stay In System

As related to a pre-employment drug test. I'm at work and have been offered a higher paying job with a different company. The only thing is i have been using es vicodin for about a week now and i have to piss in a cup. I'm not using them to get "high" but i think it is an opiate of some sort. If i remember correctly, companies test for opiates. So im wondering how long it will take to get it out of my sytem before i can go accept the job offer. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure of the exact time bro...but when I had a drug test for my job I bought a home testing kit for $19.95 that tests for the 5 majors opiates, coke, amphetamines, pot, not sure what the other one is.....it will at least give you the peace of mind that your going into the test clean.

Hey bro, you really need not worry about that Vicodin in your system.. Your company isnt concerned with legal prescription medicine use.. Generally when one is taking a urine screen, they are asked before ever "taking care of the business at hand" if they are currently taking any prescription meds.. Simply tell them that you have had Vicodin ES.. It is a legal med that is prescribed all the time.. Besides, with the way that everyone is so lawsuit happy these days, they probablly wouldnt dare ask you why you are taking it.. They wouldnt want to risk offending you in some way.. Your medical concerns are yours, and your's alone anyway.. Dont give it another thought man.. Go piss in that cup, and let the big money roll on it.. hahahha.. To answer your question though about how long it stays in your system : Vicodin, or Hydrocodone type meds dont have a very long half life at all.. Since you are on this board, I am going to assume you workout, and that means that your system will flush even faster than a regular persons.. Without a doubt, your system will be totally cleared with 16 - 32 hours ( within your last dose ), and that is playing the safest side of it.. One more time though, they dont care about legal pharmacueticals.. They are looking for illegal substances..

To be totally safe, wait 96hrs from your last dose. Don't chance it brother. What's an extra couple of days compared to peace of mind? U'll be totally clean, 100% for sure and u can piss all day long!
