Speaking in general about storing medications,,,they should be stored away from heat, light,moisture, and excess air..

by vacuum sealing you reduced the amount of air to a minimal, all you have to do now is store it in a room temperature and in a dark box or container that UV light cannot pass through.

I have no evidence to base how long whatever powder you are talking about will last,,but i bet it will last a good deal longer because of the seal you did, and if you keep it away from light, heat, and moisture as well..
