How do you password protect your jpegs?

Put them in a folder and set the password protect. Simple. :)

Set up a guest account on your computer and disable file and folder sharing.

I have XP:

Microsoft Windows XP home users

Select the folder you wish to encrypt.
Right-click the folder and click Properties.
Click the Sharing tab.
Check the box Make this folder private
Click Apply and then Ok.

So then will it ask for password?

if you set up a guest account it will. Which is the best way to do it. That way they don't have any business snoping on your side of the PC.

no
if you are logged in as admin and the other users are logged in as guests they will not see the file that you set to private at all - it will be hidden to other users i beleive

So right now under C:\DocumentandSettings

I have 3 folders:
Administrator
All Users
My Name

right click add a new folder called "Guest"

then, rght click => Properties => Sharing =>Make this folder private

(log in under Administrator account) Start >> Control Panel>> User Accounts>> Create A New Account >> Type in Name >> Select LIMITED >> Create Account >> Finish (follow through)

Then under the Administrator Account (which you are still using)
Right Click on File you want >> Sharing and Security>> Sharing >> Make This File Private >> OK

Then log on under the new guest account and try to find the file and view it.
Right Click Start>> Explore>> scroll down until you find the file >> double click to try to open it. It shouldn't work will say you don't have permision to access this file.

*****Keep spankable material in a flash drive or external harddrive*******
ding
or at least move the folder to program files and give it some tech sounding name

I just created a new folder on the desktop and told it "compress folder" then put it in "My Pictures". The compressed folder allows you to add password.

I "might" have some pics not suitable for viewing by others who use my computer. :)

I had the same problem few years ago, although I didn't have any gay porn.
