How do you know when to up the dose?

I'm about 3 1/2 weeks in and I'm not sure if I'm using enough gear. I went with the Andropen 275 and decabol 250. I'm using 1cc of Andro twice a week and 1cc of deca a week. The reason I am not sure is because my strength has gone up but not more than what I have done while I was clean. The only measurement I'm going by is my bench. I don't really care about the 1 rep max, but the rest of the world seems to use it as a measuring stick, so I do to. This is my first cycle and I have added about 15-20 lbs already. I guess I just expected more out of my strength (which has gone up just not like I thought it would i guess). Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm still new to all of this.
 
Wait another week or two...your first cycle, do not up the dosage. How are you eating? Hows your workout schedule?

i agree with goluan.... sometimes it takes a little longer with certain people. take me for instance. i'm on a deca and test e cycle right now. the juice did not kick in for me till about week four. I also usually front load with d-bol for the first 4 weeks or so as well. i'm taking low dosages and for me that works awesome. good luck to you bro and i'm sure you will start seeing major results soon!! pluss it sounds like BD so you should be in good shape, stay at the dosage you are at would be my suggestion.

Look at it this way, 15-20 lbs is awesome in 3.5 weeks. I think 10lbs a year natural, is a good year. Your deca is probably just kicking in. I wouldn't up anything. good job, 15lbs is impressive.

Thanks guys. As far as my diet and excersise schedule goes, well it's not the best. My work schedule rotates all of the time. I'm on call all of the time. My diet, well, I eat just about everything in sight, especially since about 2 weeks ago. I just try to keep the protein high and the carbs and fat moderate. As best I can. I can only carry so much food with me on a train. Thanks alot.

I hear ya there bud. If youre not doing so, you definitely should supplement your meals with some type of protein shake.

I throw back at least 4 shakes a day in order to get the protein needed to increase muscle mass. You need at least 1.5-2grams of protein per pound.

My diet is as follows just to give you an idea

4:30am
Shake 1/3 cup Whey Protein, 1 scoop creatine, 1 scoop glutamine
1/3 cup oatmeal

7:15
2-egg sausage, bacon cheese omlett
2 16oz milks with roughly 1/4 cup Whey Protein in each

12pm
6-inch turkey,ham,bacon melt on wheat from subway, with sunchips

3pm
workout

4:15pm
Post workout shake, same as other shakes only with dextrose included

6ish
dinner... whatever the wifey makes

7:30
another protein shake.


I strive to make sure that I take in at least 3500 cals a day... try to hit 4k if I can.

My exp. with deca are good strenghth gains but they come a little later in the cycle. Give it a few more weeks and I'll bet you will see a big difference. This being your first, I would stick with the doses you are using. GOOD LUCK
