How do you guys deal with test flu?

It's really starting to piss me off. My whole body is achy, and I'm pretty much always running a slight temp. It seems, from being around here for a while, Enanthate is the ester that most often causes these symptoms. Are there any decent otc meds that I can take that would get me over the hump? What do some of you guys do? I'm not really looking forward to my next injection....

I got those symptoms from EQ and just took theraflu for a few days now I feel a little better. But now after the shot, 2 days later I'll feel a little cold like symptom for a day or 2 then it goes away. Like apexx says just push through it...mind over matter...No one said that AAS is going to make you feel like superman all the time, for by now you should be aware of various side effects. EQ = consistent hunger and flu like symptoms... dbol = painful lower back pumps and rise in blood pressure which sometimes mean migraines and hot flashes ... test = uncomfortable bloating in the stomach area and rise in blood pressure ... tren = frustrating night sweats and insomnia. It's the risk we all take for vanity!

Its not the Enanthate which causes the flu symptoms, its Propionate. It usually should only last no longer than a few days.

I used to be sold on the idea of 4 different Tests in Sust. I soon learned that you can get equivelant gains if not more just using Enanthate, and without the flu or pain at the injection site.

I'm using Enanthate right now, and I have both the flu like symptoms, and amazing pain at injection site. Sometimes the pain lasts for a week after injection. My right leg hurts so bad from a Thursday night injection of 1/2 cc that walking is very uncomfortable. I keep telling the guy that this stuff is screwing me up, but he just keeps telling me that it's test flu. Your thoughts....

what brand of test are you using? this test flu thing has to mean its dirty gear. if you got 10 ml's of test from an american pharmacy i would bet anything you wouldnt get sick. when looking in the pdr under side effects from test it says nothing about flu like symptoms.. my bud has been using test for years from a cool as md. recently he decided to try qv prop he got sick as a dog from it and said his ass hurt bad for a week. i know qv is very cheap and very easy to get, but imo i would never use that crap!

have you been cleaning the injection site with soap and water first, then cleaning with alcahol swab? I got test prop flue 3 times this cycle and they were all when i did'nt clean with soap and water first. If the sight is red and looks like a sunburn it is a slight infection. I just took lots of vitamin C and E and it went away in 2 days...

i've used test cyp up to 750 ew with no test flu. whats the adv of ethanate?

I started this cycle with test cyp at 1000mg/week, and when I added the Enanthate everything went to shit. As far as I can see, there is no advantage to Enth. I think I'm going back to cyp.

I'm not using QV. Actually I started my cycle with QV Teston 200, and I have to give it a huge thumbs up. It was every bit as good as some legit Upjohn Cyp that I got a few years ago. I am using an underground lab product from Couture Labs. All I keep hearing everywhere is how great this stuff is, and I'm just plain getting sore and sick off it!

yeah i guess you have to be careful with some of those ug labs. unless you have seen the lab, or even if you have, you dont know how sanitary in witch the conditions the gear is produced. thanks for the heads up on couture labs, ill think ill stear clear of it!

I always put enanthate into my cycle. I have noting but great results from it. I have never had flu symptoms from it at all and I have been using brovel labs since 1997 an its in exspensive 600mg/wk. On the other hand my qv prop gives me flu symptoms for 14 hours. I feel like shit but after 14hours i am heman T-400 made me feel like I was on life support and left me hurting for 6 days with a huge lump in my ass

this is a possibility!
I always shower before injections are made. people say you can reuse the plunger a few times if you clean it with alcohol. F**K that, I never use a plunger or needle more than once!! You have to use clean tools! THats the bottom line.

test flu does not mean dirty gear. It either means that your immune system is giving you a fit or that you are having a reaction to the ba. And its not just enanthate or prop, any AAS can do it.

The gear dosn't have to be dirty to get the test or sust-flu. Your body is reacting to a foreign substance that has been introduced. Take 4 advil liquid-gels every 4 hours and if it is really bad take something with pseudoephedrine like dayquil or sudaphed.

Thanks to everyone on the advices. The one time I did shower before injection-I got the worst swelling ever! Both my ass cheeks were swollen for three days. I always use fresh pins. I never re-use anything. I am drawing the gear with a 22 gauge pin on a syringe, and then I screw on a fresh 25 for the injection. My skinfold measurement on my thigh is 7mm, so I think a 1 inch pin is more than adequate. I have never had problems with this combo before. I have even done sustanon in the thigh, and not had very much pain at all. I mixed 1/2 cc of this test, and 1/2 cc of Teston 200 from a bottle that I absolutely had no problems with, and injected into my right thigh. I did it Thursday night, and here it is Sunday night, and I still have a very sore leg complete with a lump, and a 99.4 degree fever. This is totally fucking up my workouts and my motivation. I am having trouble filling in the gap, because I'm nearly out of Teston, and I'm only three weeks into my cycle. I still have 45 ml of this junk Enanthate, though. Yipppeeee! Really looking forward to my next scheduled shot. Oh, that was supposed to be today, but I really didn't want to be nearly crippled and sick for the next week, so I skipped it....

I have used test for years now and never really understood where people were coming from when they mentioned test flu, until I decided to give QV enanthate a try. I would get flu like symptoms for a couple days after every inject, fucking horrible. After about 4 weeks, I switched over to ICNs and felt great. I will never use QV test again.

I am on my third cycle using Upjohn Cyp and have NEVER had painful injections or flu...MUST be dirty gear.
