Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Just curious do most people inject themsleves or do they have someone do it for them? I am having trouble getting glute injections on my own and do not want to do the quads too much.

A good tip for the glutes is to lie on your side and reach around. Makes it easier to reach and see.

I can get injected by the trained people here but I don't trust anyone else with a needle. Depending on dosage I just inject in my quad because it is easier. Kinda hard to turn around and see my arse!
I just started my first cycle, and although I was a little nervous with the first injection, it has become fun now! Sometimes I'll smack one cheek with the back of a hairbrush, then disinfect with alcohol, and I can't even feel the needle. If it is awkward, just try taking the needle off an empty syringe and practice pulling back (aspirating) and pushing forward. You'll get the hang of it in no time.

I lie on my side also, definately more comfortable and easier to aspirate.

I hit my glute all the time. I will lean my hip up against the opposite side that I am going to inject into. I will then let the leg on the injection side kinda sag and let you knee bend and put all of your weight on the side that is leaning against the counter/ or whatever you choose. Then just go for it. It makes it easier because if you do it right you can see. That helps if you draw back.. like I do.
