How do I subscribe to threads without being emailed updates?

I want to subscribe to threads, so they show up on my profile page, but not receive and email notification every time it's updated. How do I do this?

I have that set to no, but unless I click the "Email Notification" box when I post, the thread doesn't get added to my "Subscribed Threads" list in my profile.

I want to subscribe to threads with no email notification.

When you respond to a thread, below the box for the writing there are 4 boxes. One of them says email notification. Click this box so that the check mark dissappears. Hope this solves your problem!

But if I unclick that, I won't be subscribed to the threads and they won't show up on my profile screen.
