Well.. i have the benefit of only working 3 days a week.. so on my off days i usually get to sleep in.. so on those days i'll get around 9-10 hours of sleep.. not that i need it.. although I do feel much more recovered physically whenever i've had more sleep.. but as for waking up.. i'm there with ya man.. because i drink a lot of water.. and train late at night.. then do my postworkout shakes.. and a shake before bed.. i wake up like 2 but sometimes 3.. or sometimes none.. times before I have to get up in the morning.. but honestly.. i feel more rested on the days i wake up and go back to sleep.. than the days i don't.. plus.. i really don't have to wake up very much to take a piss.. lol.. kind of instinct.. but also.. i will have a glass of milk.. or a handful of nuts or something before i crash again.. keep food in my system.. so actually waking up periodically for me has been great.. as long as i eat good when i do my late night piss/eat trips.. but then i curl back in bed.. and probably within the minute i hit the bed.. i'm back out.. so it's no big deal to me..

Try not drinking anything anytime soon to going to bed.. and sleep all night without getting up.. and see how you feel a few times.. then go back to your normal schedule and see how you feel.. only you can gauge how much sleep you really need man.. just do what feels right..

Yeah.. whether i have a bedtime shake or not.. i usually will get up atleast once during the night to take a piss.. and no i do not get up just to eat.. but when i get up to take a piss.. i'll grab something small.. since i know my body needs food.. sometime slow releasing like a tall glass of skim milk.. or milk and a handful of nuts.. beef jerky if i have it.. i don't wake up to do it.. just i know i need to.. and i'm up.. so might as well.. as far as postworkout on.. here goes.

My workouts are usually around 9-9:30 at night.. and i go to sleep around 12 or 1am

Immediatly after workout: (around 10-10:30pm)
1 scoop of AST Creatine HSC (34g of glucose (carbs), 5g creatine, 1g taurine)
10g of AST GL-3 Glutamine (mixed with the creatine shake)
1 1/2 scoops of ON 100% Whey in water (around 35g of protein)
1000mg Vit-C
400iu Vit-E
500mg AST NAC
99mg of Potassium

Around 1 hour later: (11-11:30pm)
2 rice cakes (24g of carbs, 100cals)
1 1/2 scoops of ON 100% Whey in Milk (around 45g of protein and slower releasing because of the milk)

If i don't have to work the next morning and i'm staying up later.. i'll have another whey shake with milk around 15 minutes before bed along with some more vitamins.. and antioxidants and stuff like that.. along with some CLA as well.. but if i have to work and i'm crashing at 12.. then the rice cakes and whey in milk is my last meal.. as for the rest of the day.. it's a toss up.. always different.. just low fat.. moderate carbs.. good protein.. simple..

jkurz = carth?

is there anything you don't worry about? if youre that paranoid about gains stick a catheter in your pecker so you dont have to wake up to take a leak

anyway, waking up to piss is not affecting your gains.
