I've tried to just have my PW shake and nothing else........doesnt work. Sucks.....you wake up and EAT?? Tell me what your ritual is food wise from your training session on...trying to find the right concoction of PW meals.....I train from 430-530, shake at 545 and bed by 9pm.........
Yeah.. whether i have a bedtime shake or not.. i usually will get up atleast once during the night to take a piss.. and no i do not get up just to eat.. but when i get up to take a piss.. i'll grab something small.. since i know my body needs food.. sometime slow releasing like a tall glass of skim milk.. or milk and a handful of nuts.. beef jerky if i have it.. i don't wake up to do it.. just i know i need to.. and i'm up.. so might as well.. as far as postworkout on.. here goes.
My workouts are usually around 9-9:30 at night.. and i go to sleep around 12 or 1am
Immediatly after workout: (around 10-10:30pm)
1 scoop of AST Creatine HSC (34g of glucose (carbs), 5g creatine, 1g taurine)
10g of AST GL-3 Glutamine (mixed with the creatine shake)
1 1/2 scoops of ON 100% Whey in water (around 35g of protein)
1000mg Vit-C
400iu Vit-E
500mg AST NAC
99mg of Potassium
Around 1 hour later: (11-11:30pm)
2 rice cakes (24g of carbs, 100cals)
1 1/2 scoops of ON 100% Whey in Milk (around 45g of protein and slower releasing because of the milk)
If i don't have to work the next morning and i'm staying up later.. i'll have another whey shake with milk around 15 minutes before bed along with some more vitamins.. and antioxidants and stuff like that.. along with some CLA as well.. but if i have to work and i'm crashing at 12.. then the rice cakes and whey in milk is my last meal.. as for the rest of the day.. it's a toss up.. always different.. just low fat.. moderate carbs.. good protein.. simple..
