how come some reciepes for injectable oils such as test enth only have ba and oil not BB in there? is it better to have bb in there?

cheers

Some hormones will dissolve fully in oil and some won't. Those that won't need a cosolvent. It could also be that if you want a higher concentration than is possible with oil alone, you need a cosolvent. I wouldn't necessarily say it is better or worse, although personally I prefer simple. If a cosolvent isn't needed, it makes it easier and possibly cheaper to make.

Nice answer and my thoughts exactly. I just brewed up some real nice Test Enanthate at 300mg/ml with 3%BA and nothing else.

I always figured also that the less foreign material the better. One problem is that people got used to the steroid powder calculator defaulting at 2%BA and 20%BB. I have never used over 7% BB in my life, but I guess different strokes.

For the OP....BA is a bacterisotatic agent, which means it inhibits bacterial growth, where as BB is a co-solvent that is mainly used to suspend hormones that need wont hold in pure oil and BA,

Interesting .. I'm currently using a batch of test cyp that I mixed up myself at exactly those proportions .. 20%BB/2%BA.

I don't have a ton of powder and its not really easy for me to get so I hate wasting it doing experiments so tend to follow recipes that others seem to have success with. I think I found that particular recipe in a post here ..

BB is considered a minor irritant so probably best to use as little as necessary.
