How can you clean your beta receptors?

Is it possible to clean out your beta receptors? Ive heard that benadryl will do this but not sure if this is just a myth.

After running Clen or Albuterol for several weeks there is sure to be some down regulation of beta receptors. Benadryl can help, but time off of them is what is best to return to normal
