How can i sleep cooler at night?

I have a difficult time sleeping at night due to getting hot and cold. How can i regulate this? My wife doesn’t want me to crank the air conditioning down and a fan blowing directly on me sometimes gives me a sore throat.

Are there such things as cooling pads, much like heating pads?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

They have bed fans for beds
There essentially a fan underneath/to the side of the bed and it blows air up inside the covers.

There only like 50$ or so.
