How are you bettering yourself?

New member
Everyone has a flaw or twenty.

What are you doing about your flaws?

Do you aknowledge them? Deny them? Drink yourself into a stupor and wake up sore and angry at yourself and later take it out on someone smaller than you? Swallow pills and press your sweaty body against someone you don't care about and hope that the brief release will distract you for even just a moment? Kill those that point out said flaws? Cry while cowering in the fetal position in your closet?

I read and practice keeping my mouth shut.

I am currently trying to drop a couple hundred IQ points, many people are offended by my superior intellect.

I have a serious problem of thinking I'm superior to everyone else.
The worst part is I'm not doing a thing about it.

Sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. Oh and I looked into starting college in January.

is that serious?

pretty much.

probably why I hang out on boards like the Olsen Twin fanclub and the Fashion En Espanol board. that way I can feel superior and not be challenged by the likes of people that actually know anything.

I think Puc pointed this out about me once before - he is probably still on here with some other name I guess.

A superiority complex is merely a subconcious manifestation of an inferiority complex.

Perhaps - but in this case, I actually am better than everyone - so it is less of a complex and more of a reality.

I'm getting a phd so that I can curropt young minds and get blowjobs from hot dumb coeds for good grades.

It's the american dream I tell ya!

But you see, it is in personal comparison with those around that truly reveals a inferiority complex. If you were truly superior, you would have no need or ABILITY to identify said superiority.

I am british so by definition I do not have any flaws. Everybody else can compare themselves to myself and Tuc if they are unsure about what they need to improve. If you are still confused........feel free to ask.

While you raise an interesting point on the need, your suggestion and subsequent capitalization of ability are unwarrented and lacking in any real accurate substance. a.k.a. "wrong".

If you have to hang onto stereotypes in order to protect your fragile ego then that is something you can work on.

I hang on to my Cabbage Patch doll named "Rufus" - he protects my ego.
The generalization made towards your dental hygiene on the other hand was more of a suggestion.

A worthless suggestion.........just like saying if you are american you have to lose weight.

I think all Americans should be forced into bulemia. None of the pain of anorexia and way more potential facial hair.

The Brits on the other hand just have that whole pallor thing and the tooth/gum issue.

Don't even get me started on the Japs.

The Brits on the other hand are absolutely perfect.

Don't even get me started on the Japs.

I totally agree.

They make interesting cars. The Jag sucked ass for a bit, but then after some redsigns the newest ones are quite nice. No more of that "lifting the entire engine out to change the spark plugs" business.

To be fair, I am not well travelled when it comes to your lot - I only have been to London, so I've only seen it rainy and miserable and expensive and congested with traffic while drunken homeless men disrobed in the tube and tossed boiled meat at businessmen in suits that acted like they were in a different place, likely preoccupied by the pain in their molars.

The new architecture there is cool. Some of it, such as Lloyd's, is even shiny. I like shiny.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: How are you bettering yourself?

London has some cool bits and some not so cool bits. Not really a true representation of the UK.

Whats the problem with the jag? If you oculd afford one you oculd afford a mechanic to do all of the hard work for you.

I like the XJS. Aluminum is shiny. And you guys say it funny.

If I could afford any car, it wouldn't matter at this point since where I live you are limited to one car and we already have our shitbox. You are also limited to shitboxes. Small roads and the speed limit is like 40kmph at best.

The problem lies in the fact that your various complexes have comprimised your ABILITY to understand why I capitalized ABILITY.

Someday, you may have the ABILITY to comprehend what I actually said. But, in all REALITY, I don't give a shit. Although by my posting, it may lead one to assume that I do give a shit, I don't. I am merely typing this to satisfy a desire to use my really spiffy keyboard.

Notice how we say it how it is spelt? There is a reason for that......

There are two spellings for it. We say it as we spell it. When I look up "aluminium" in the dictionary, it says that it is an alternate spelling for "aluminum".
When I look at a perodic table, it is spelled the way I say it.

That said, perhaps my world is American-centric, even though I'm not currently in the States.

Either way, aluminum, or aluminium - its oxide has got one up on your teeth.

That would be because it was an american periodic table which just so happens to be different to the ones used in the rest of the world.

Ah science shit huh.......see what you say doesnt stand up. The Aluminium Oxide is disrupted by simple salts (say Sodium Chloride) so what you are saying makes no sense whatsoever. Again I show how inferior you are tot he mighty british.

Yet another post by NoDaddyNo revealing his inner feelings of inadequacy. You see folks, personal attacks are commonly resorted to by people with inferiorty complexes whence found out to be wrong.

Is your keyboard shiny? I like shiny things.

As for comprehension, I would imagine that you are either yelling or desiring the emphatic tone that would be easy in verbal conversation but is lost in the written words on the net.

Either way, you sound fat.

I apologize if my comparison of your teeth to the Aluminum Oxide was not clear - I simply meant that it is white.

As for the Americans and their science, I say to hell with 'em all. Fat bastards.

You're a smart boy, don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.

I'm trying to have a talk with IAmAsDutchAsItGets and you keep butting in all jiggly and stuff.

I gotta run to work, but in the future, let's start another thread to cuddle in, you and me.

While I'm at work doing my thing, you can get up on that treadmill and do what hurts.

read a lot, travel a lot, spend as much time as I can with people I admire and look up to.
