Houston Guys?

Do any of you Houston guys know a good affordable gym in the galleria area? I have to go up there for business a lot, and I need a gym. I don't like ballys or 24hour fitness, any other suggestions?

Not in the Galleria area bro. U can try Hank's Gym on Richmond but Im not even sure they still exist. Look up Stone's gym too. Ballys and 24 hr are taking over around here.

Bro, I work downtown, and don't get to the galleria that often. I don't know why you don't like 24hr Fitness, most I have been to have been pretty good. But, I put a link in below to most of the gyms around. I have not been to any of these, so, you should call to find out what equipment they have. Also, if atmosphere is important, there is a Powerhouse gym about 20 minutes away that is likely pretty good. If your interested in that one, use a search engine with "houston powerhouse" and you'll find it. Hope this helps a little.....

I went to that 24 hour on thursday. The guy trying to sell me a membership really pissed me off. All he wanted to show me was 1 plan where I got a personal trainer and all this other crap I don't need. Oh well....

just go in there and say i wanna sign up and go month to month...i dont need a trainer and i dont need a tour...nuff said
