hope this isn't a stupid question

I seached for the answer to this but i couldn't find it. Some one on the board posted that they use filter needles. Are those just needles with filters already hooked up? Can you filter as you inject?
Any help would be nice.

They were probably talking about filtering their fina. You use a sterile filter attached to your syringe to filter out particles i your final solution.

There is such a thing as needles with filters in them. I have used them before. They suck.
