what kind of homework? my kid is in kindergarten and he gets HW 3 times a week and has to read out of his reading book like 4-5 days a week.Seems like alot but i think it's preparing him for grade school.

In kindergarden ? lol....i don't even think we had to read then. I only remember play time and nap time. We never had homework. It is for the best though. I should have listened to my parents and put more effort into my studies through grade school and high school. Not that the things I learned in high school would have helped me that much in my college classes but the study habits would have really paid off.

Today's homework is Nature and properties of materials. We will be doing problems from chapter 9 involving phase diagrams. At the rate your child is going he will be doing this by the 3rd grade
