Do you think Homeopathy 'works'?

Most scientists qualify it as Snake-oil but millions of people swear by it.....

The studies are contradictive and there's no science behind it still it's been used for 2 centuries

i has some benefit, but its not a replacement for modern medicine.

homopathy.. now that is just geigh.

It's very different

There is some science behind acupunture and it's now better meeting the requirements of Western medicine

No accedmy of Medicine ever recognized Homeopathy

OK this no proof that Homeopathy is Mumbo-Jumbo still ...

well most Dr's can;t get their heads round the fact that you put a chemical in water, then dilute it so its almost in single figues for parts per millions and its supposed to have clinical effect

whereas as i understand, the energy and properties of that chemical are left behind in that water which is how its supposed to work.

Western med. has come up with its own explanation of acupuncture even if it is kinda lame (pain-gate theory) so maybe they will understand it, the problem is that acupuncture showed provable benefit in double blind studies and better than some western therapies for chronic conditions at that time, im not sure of homeopathy can do this

I tried it for my digestive and sleeping problem a while ago and the results was quite positive and rather complementary to the mainstream medicine (orthodox).

Whether this was due to placebo effect remains questionable however I classify myself as an open-minded person and very much appreciated their philosophy.

Interesting.

I never have tried it, although I've heard positive anecdotal results.
