I just got back from visiting my Grandma and she made a fresh apple pie everyday. She has apple trees in her backyard. My booty now looks like a big fat apple but it was yummmmmyyyy worth it.

Yum. this whole thread is yum.. my parrents have apple trees at the farm in the 'Shires. I miss home....


I went picking raspberries and black berries at this wicked berry farm owned by friends of my hosts in Brittany some years back. Too cool. Their whole life is growing fresh herbs an berries. They live in a little chateau looking manner house. Wicked posh.

Pick some berries, drink a little hooch, pick some more berries, break for coffee and calvados, pick a few more berries, break for wheat beers with some raspberries dropped in... by the time we were done, we were hammaaad. The whole picking fest degenerated into a rasberry/blackberry war with all of us running between the rows and laughing histerically. Everyones clothes were totally ruined, pock marked red and purple.

Good times.

Hey, Gymgurl, you do any apple cranberry pie action? or like a pecan/cinnamon crumble topping? I like all of that
