I'm going to attempt my first home brew transdermal and have lots of questions and i'm a bit confused from all the stuff i've been reading.
First, what carriers do you recommend?
I was thinking of using Phlojel, DMGE, DMSO and/or d-limonene.
I want to make and experiment with different transdermals. I will start out with a basic Test base. I also want to try a EQ base along with some others. I may even combine a test/eq into a single recipe. I'm really confused on figuring out the measurements for each ingredient.
Could someone please explain how much of each ingredient to make a test base thats say 80mg per ml. I've seen 5 and 10% concentrations and i'm not I understand the concentration ratio. I believe if I made 10ml at 100mg that would be 1g test base coming out to a 10% concentration right? How much of each carrier do I add in? How do you determine how much solvent to put in it? I believe I read somewhere not to use over 10% solvent? So if i'm using 50g of Phlojel then I would use 5ml of solvent? DMSO as an example?
