High School Reunion... Sort Of

FreeballinDC

Dumper Humper
Yesterday, I met up with three other guys that I graduated with in high school. It's been around 15 to 20 years since I saw them.

Not to blow my own horn, :D but I definately was the one who kept himself up after all these years. We all sat around Chili's drinking beer and margaritas, and the rest of them couldn't believe how much I've changed and how good I look. Since I was the high school dweeb, this definately made me fell much better about myself, and the direction I am taking my body.

I am posting this for a reason. For all you younger folks out there on the fence about working out, and coming up with excuses why you can't work out seriously, think of this:

When you're 40 years old, and your chins are hanging down to your chest, and your gut is straining the belt that is supposed to be holding up your sagging pants, you'll be wondering where the years went and kicking yourself for not finding the time to take care of yourself.

Vanity? Maybe. But if it's vain of me to be in good health and to take care of myself in middle age, then sue me.

Thanks for indulging me in this long post!

Congrats bro! That is a greeat feeling when someone you haven't seen in years comments on your physique. I get that too. Especially nice when the ladies say it.:)

I missed my 20 year due to 9/11, but I was definitely looking forward to showing off the guns. There's always the 25-year.
