High protein and spots

I'm trying to put some mass solid mass on.
The problem is as soon as I get to 200g of Protein a day I seem to break out in spots, on my face and back.
Is it the protein, or the shakes themselves?
Anyone else have this problem?

it is not the proteins by themselves

may be impurities of too much of a single vitamin or mineral

what's the brand ?
 
So nobody else get this?
I use Chemical's Pro-Peptide, Twinlab's Triple Whey Fuel and Whey Fuel, and Designer Protein.
Which Vitamins could be causing this? I also use a multi-vit.
Tuna brings them out too. Iodine?
 
them fast acting whey proteins are best to be used just prior and after training, at night you need slow released proteins, otherwise there is not enough need for absorbtion/metabolisation.

At least I would dump one of the powders and eat 6 baked eggs (without yolk) with turkey prior before going to bed and for breakfast. This back to back approach will give you a steady slow release of quality proteins during day and night but not faster than they can be metabolized.

This is surely going to improve the spots problem somewhat. If it remains after 4 weeks, dump one of the other whey powders you are using and restore the powder you dumped first.

With this trial and error approach I am sure you can tackle part if not the whole problem. good luck.
 
The thing is, I've read in so many mags and sites dermo experts write: diet will not affect acne.
I find that hard to believe.
I'll give that a go and see. Thanks bro.

Well...., it is true

neither chocolate, nor any other food will give you acne

supplements can
 
Oh, I see now.
Which supps/ vits/ minerals impurities could be causing this? And by impurities do you mean the by-products of their metabolism/ breakdown?
