Men and women experience the same sides from GH and it's very dose dependent. If your goals from GH are to gain muscle, the sides are more pronounced. You will also be disappointed if you expect steroid like results. If your goals are more health and well being based, you will not have many problems. basically, 1-2iu /ed will help general well being and slightly assist fat loss / lean muscle retention. Sometimes you may experience slight bloat and a little sluggishness in the beginning. Above 2iu /ed you may get some muscle gain but pretty much only if you add in steroids. This is where bloating and wrist pain etc become an issue. My arms fall asleep, feet feel swolen, hands swolen, etc. You will also need to run GH for several months to see positive results.
I am a big supporter of GH but only if used safely. Before runing GH you should run some blood work. Assuming you are healthy and have no issues, determine what your IGF-1 level is. If it's in the high / normal ramge you will not notice a low dose as much as if it's in the low range. If your IGF is at say 100 normally, 1-2iu/ed will make you feel great. If your normal level is in the 300 range, you may not notice much on a low dose. I also make sure I keep my blood sugar low/normal, and never take a shot after a high GI meal.
This is all based on my opinion and experience. I always keep my doc in the loop and work with two doctors that are very experienced with GH.....
