hGH side effects (carpal-numbness)

Just to compare notes, does anyone notice less or no numbness with EOD dosing as opposed to ED dose? I'm sure my hGH is working except I am not experiencing the tell-tale sides of numbness in my arms. The only differnce is I am dosing EOD instead of ED and I'm wondering if that is the pivotal factor.
Anyone else notice the same difference (i.e., no arm numbness) with EOD dosing?

I still get numbness on eod, but I shoot about 6iu's daily. Even when I do 6 eod, I still get sides. Everyone is different though. I doubt this means your gh is bunk or it's not working as good. Hey if you aren't getting numb hands that wake you up 4 or 5 times a night and joint pain, all the better! Trust me, you aren't missing out on anything good, lol. :) Good luck with you gh cycle.

Btw, How much are you running and what brand?

FWIW I always ran jino's @ 4 iu ed (usually 5 on/2 off) and got numbness around week 3 or 4 that stayed with me throughout. Now I use lesser doses (2 iu ED) of generics. Just started this current batch about a week or 2 ago, no numbness yet. But sleep quality is waaay improved. I think the whole rationale behind EOD dosing is to keep receptors fresh. The sides of carpal numbness are usually independent of the dosing schedule. If you have supraphysiological amounts of GH in your system, you're more than likely going to experience that side effect.

this is my first time on hgh, just wondering exactly why it causes this numbness and tingling in my fingers. is there a medical or scientific reason? i'm up to 4iu

I believe it has to do with median nerve compression near the flexor retinaculum (carpul tunnel).
so the hgh somehow affects the nerves in our wrists causing finger tingling, numbness. i notice it the most when i wake up. thnks for the answers

No I dont believe it effects the nerves directly, but rather the tunnel through which the median nerve travels when it enters the hand. The carpal tunnel is a small conduit that is covered on the palmar surface by the flexor retinaculum, which is a soft tissue structure that I beleive hypertrophies with GH usage, and therefore imposes a manual compression on the median nerve, causing the numbness and tingling.

Even on Blue Top generics I run 5units ED and only started seeing sides at about week 5.. I've been on them for about two months straight now ED and the results are phenominal. I've also played around with T4, Slin, Drol, IGF, Sust and so on during this time. I love the vascularity from GH..

Interesting, i thought it was some fluid shifts causing compression on the median nerve stimulating the numbness/tingling.

Definitely could be. It's probably multi-faceted actually. If you were to do a search on acromegaly and side effects it might yield the answer we're looking for, but it's late and I'm lazy lol. :p

If the tingling is from compression on the median nerve I'd be interested to know what the reason for the stiff, sore joints is. There isent one joint in my entire body that doesnt hurt on this stuff.

I'm trying a dif. method of Gh dosing. This came from Gavin Kane at anabolex. For bulking he recommends taking the sum of a weeks worth of GH and splitting it into 3 pokes. So if you were doing 4iu's/day for 7 days(28/wk.), you would take roughly 10iu's every mon., wed., and fri. This is suppose to lesson the sides and be more effective for bulking. For cutting it would would be ED pokes.

Sounds interesting cranny, less pokes, less sides and more bulking, what more could ya ask for. does it work? how many have tried it with success? how long u been doing it?

This is just my 2nd week on GH. I've read an ass of info. on GH over the past few months and I have to say Gavin seems to really know his shit when it comes to GH.

Milos Sarcev was one of the first to make this method popular. I personally do ED pokes, but I'm cutting now. Next time I bulk with GH I'll definitely try the 3x weekly method to see how it works.

Gavin and Milos pretty much tell all the pros how to take their gh, slin and igf1. Their advice is pretty much spot on. Although for bulking, I still prefer ed. I understand their reasoning behind it and follow most of their other protocols, but when it comes to the gh, I'm an ed type of guy, lol.

I was using 10iu EOD eod, generic blue tops, and after 8 weeks the pain in my knees was so bad I had to stop, also had numbness in my hands, but that was not too bad.

Results were excellent, but the pain stopped me from training properly.

I have just started back on them again, but at just 5iu EOD.

First: Cranny, I love your avatar!

Ok..I'm past that now...

I started Jin on 2/1 at 2 IU ED 5on/2off. I increased it to 4 IU on the same schedule to coincide with a test/deca/dbol cycle.

BF is down, Sleep is good.

My left thumb isn't numb, but it feels like it would if had I jambed it and sprained it. I almost can't pick up anything of any weight with it without it being painful. Likewise, the my left extensor digitorum and extensor ulnari carpis (the "top" muscles of my left forearm) are very sore.

I haven't had any trauma to the area and haven't been lifting heavy yet, so I suspect that the effect is somehow tied to the HGH. So far, it seems to be steady state and not getting worse or subsiding.
