HGH and stunted growth

I got a buddy with a problem that im not exactly sure what to tell him. If a teenage male stunts his growth with a cycle of steroids, can his growth plates reopen with the use of HGH?

Im not a 100% on this but I was thinking it can. What would the difference be if a 30 year old stunted its growth hormone production and then used HGH and noticed thicker bones, stronger tendons, increase in heighth and so forth... Can the same be said with some one younger? Or is it irreversible?

bro, im looking for serious advice. Though the plates have closed, he wont grow any taller but will his tendons, ligaments and muscles grow with HGH?

muscles and organs will grow, bones will not, they will get denser and bigger but not longer on an HGH regimen.

it's actually estrogen which primarily mediates the closing of growth plates, interestingly enough they have begun to successfully use aromatase inhibitors during adolescence to delay the closing of the growth plates and create a greater final height.

but yes once growth plates have closed this is irreversible and nothing outside of the surgery mentioned above will make anyone grow in height.
