hgh and hypothyroid

i know when you get your bloodwork done for hgh etc they test for thyroid issues as well as a bunch of other panels. I have a friend who has a thyroid issue who asked why(I think hypo). anyone have any feedback? how would affect it if untreated? if treated would he be good to go? I think he's 35/36

GH downregulates your thyroid anyway so if he does not account for that it just magnifies the problem
