how do I give the dog that shot of EQ? IM and very slow I'm guessing
Is this going to hurt her?

I know how to do an inject - have cows remember. Just wanted to make sure this was an IM drug - it is thick as hell so it kind of worried me. She's a pretty good old dog so unless it is painful we won't have a prob.

you can give it in the hind leg or the lower back. feel for the spine and move about an inch over....stretch the muscle with your hand (push down hard on it ,stretching with your index finger and thumb...is this making any sense its hard to explain) and then inject... If you stretch the muscle out before you inject she shouldnt feel a thing... only a little irritation AFTER its all done. when you dont strecth the muscle it will hurt like a mofo. just keep the needle at a slight slant... and dont go in all the way, just enough to get the juice in. yummmm.... lucky dog
