Yeah but it is better than most. We actually need and SUV unlike most people who want to feel 'safe'. What do you drive?

4wd ranger...almost got a dakotah with an V-8, glad i got the ranger with the 6 though the gas mileage still sucks

My Mustang is just as bad. It'll cost probably $40 to fill it it up and it gets maybe 230 miles per tank.

Grrrrr............

Running your vehicles with straight pipes is also great for gas mileage. Put a high flow cat and a Bosche O2 sensor on one of 'em at least.

you think straight pipes are less efficent? i thought the added pressure from duals straigh pipes increased gas mileage?

Back pressure sounds cool but your computer is getting shitty readings without a cat from the o2 sensor most likely and your dumping more fuel than you should be out those sweet sounding 3 inch tips. :)

Yeah, hell my I6 sounded like a V8 with a Flowmaster when I had my front pipe disconnected at ~1,800 rpms. Now it sounds poopy with stock exhaust but I get good gas mileage for a jeep.
