At least Canadians are allowed to watch TV stations from all around their country (as well as USA east and west coast networks). In the USA, it's illegal for satellite and cable providers to sell "distant locals" to anyone in range of a "local" station.

Nothing much gets censored up here. It's not uncommon to have nudity and swearing in prime-time Canadian shows. Heck, we run the Sopranos un-cut on a major TV network. It's no big deal.

Actually, there is much more censorship in the States than here. We have a much more European attitude towards nudity and profanity here.

For one small example, and I could list many more, the Osbournes are not censored here, while the profanity is consored in the US.
