yes, the doctor asked me if I used roids. Actually, he asked me twice. I told him NO, NO, NO. The regular doctor took blood and tested for estrogen levels and hormone levels. They came back fine. He also did a prolactin test and my levels where very high. He sent me to an endocronologist. The endocronologist sent me for an MRI because he thought my levels where high because of a pituitary tumor. The MRI came back negative ( my levevls were high because of fina, but I diddnt tell him that). Anyway, I went back to him and he sent me for more blood work( test levels, thyroid, cortisone, etc.) Everything came back normal. My prolactin levels had dropped a little, because of vitex I got on. So he said we would check them again in 6 months. As for the gyno he said that since I was so young and in discomfort and depression over it that he would recommend surgery and that my insurance would pay. he set me up with a plastic surgeon and I go Tuesday.
okay, I will tell you that if you want insurance to pay deny the roid use no matter what. Make sure you are clean and all AS is out of system. I am living proof that some doctors will try to get you to admit to it but stick with your story. I told mine that seems like I got it when I was younger and every now and again it will flare up. Make sure you tell the doc that you are in pain and discomfort. Oh, and also act like it depresses the hell out of you. I almost made myself cry one time in the doc office, and I know he felt sorry for me. Never mention the word gyno, Play Dumb.
This worked for me and it can work out for you too.
