ok, i was thinking about moving this spring, and Texas was on the list of one of the places I want to move, so I’m glad this is posted. Here are my questions. Everyone says how great it is, then you here how bad it is with gangs and that Mexicans took it over etc. WHERE do all the Mexicans live? and WHERE do all these hot Texan women live? I’ve heard it is the scummiest state, and one of the best, which is it? or which parts are good and which aren’t?

I went to Texas years back. We went thru to Chorpus Christi (sp?) and even into San Antonio.
From what I remember it was all flat, dry, and looked like a big desert. The mall we went to was indeed filled with Mexican peeps.

second, buff Texas has alot to offer bro. Look at a map sometime ( of the US) and see how large we are. We have rivers, lakes, the gulf coast, padre island, UT, the COWBOYS, the spurs, rockets, mavs and the Dallas Stars.
Women are everywhere like malls, clubs, lower greenville ave., gyms, offices, literally everywhere and usually not snobby...usually southernly charming and easy to talk to.
Fishing and hunting are a premium here you name it we have it. Scummy? well every large city has Project Housing areas, but we with jobs do not live there. Traffic sucks until you learn shortcuts.

I have been to LA, San Diego, San Fran, Orlando, Detroit, Pittsburg, Daytona Beach, and Miami, and I have met hot girls in every city, but nothing like Texas.
If you are that bored and you been here ten years you need new friends or you just dont get out much period.
Mexicas, yes they are everywhere and they have like 15 kids...it sucks, traffic, is pretty bad, but coming from Cali Texas Traffic is a walk in the park. I spent most of the summer in La last year and traffic is worse incali - hands down!!

There is a lot to do in Texas, either you dont have the time, or the money, or you dont put forth the effort to find it. You like sit at home on the comp and complain about Texas being boring...uhh yes if you dont get out. If you get out a few times a month you can visit some nice malls, see hella Christmas lights and I guess you just have to go to frickin walmart or any grocery store to see nice looking ladies...esp in NORTH TEXAS.

I've been all over this state, and done all the "fun" things to do here.
It does not even compare to other places. I went back to Cali a couple of months ago(for a 2 week vac.) and there were FAR more fine women there than here.

You live in Denton, the armpit of the metroplex, and are complaining about Texas being boring and the women are unattractive. shocking!!! First off there aren't many hotties in Denton. Not because of the simple fact that it is Denton, but half the town is TWU which is an all women's university and you don't find hot girls at an all girl's university. Secondly, Denton is just plain boring. It's a small college town with not much to offer other than Fry Street. I'd get bored shitless if I spent my everyday life there, too. I used to pop into Denton every so often because my gf was going to school there at UNT a couple of years ago. It was a nice change of pace from Dallas, but I couldn't do it every weekend and stay sane.
You can't compare Denton women to Cali women. Cali women are hot, but synthetic hot. The majority of them are tanned and siliconed up. Texas has an overwhelmingly larger amount of naturally beautiful women. Girls who are beautiful in the face and don't need to get plastic surgery and tans to cover up a lack of natural beauty.

I lived in Arkansas for about 18 months when I was 12
I have visited hundreds of cities, and I stay a week or two and in some cases a month or two and once for an entire summer
I guess I was born and raised here, so I know where to go.
Fry St you should be seeing plenty of sexually inviting women with money and friends over there.
Maybe you want Tx to be your hometown or something and it isn't. But some of best memories are the parties, people, and ladies I have met in Texas. Maybe I am lucky and I have always had alot of friends in many different cicrcles,. I have made some really interesting friends, and they have friends...so I have more friends. I am lucky with that I know, but I also am a friendly outgoing person, so I make friends.

I live in New Jersey, but I used to go to school in Houston and I have family in dallas and plano.
I like the suburbs of the dallas/ft worth area. You have a country feel to it and plenty of space but there are also a lot of things to do in the area............I would like to move out there once I am done with school. Nice weather a lot better than NJ.
I am at school in NJ now and I can tell you that the people in Texas were a lot more friendly than they are up here. When people down there say "If youre in the area you can come stay in my home" they actually mean it...
