WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 — Herbert L. Block, the Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist for The Washington Post, who under the name “Herblock” skewered every president since Herbert Hoover, died Sunday. He was 91. Block, who died of pneumonia at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, was acclaimed by Donald E. Graham, chairman and chief executive of The Post, as “the greatest cartoonist of all time.”
Poor herb....he was only 91.....
