Hey guys, I just started my cycle yesterday. I injected omna in my right butt cheek, and it was absolutly painless. That night however it started hurting like a bitch. This morning I felt a swelling in my lower back on the right side. It hurts even more than the injection site! I can't even sleep on my right side. It isn't red or anything, and it isn't swollen too much but it hurts alot. Do you guys have any idea what this could be? :(

dont have any idea why your lower back is hurting, but the injection site should definatly be hurting. u took omna and it has prop in it, which hurts. i would say wait it out for a couple days, and if your back doesnt get better go to the doc.

my guess is just soreness from the omna shot.... if its not swolen or anything you should be golden... just ice the areas that hurt a little bit, that might help loosen things up
YUM

Thanks for the advice guys. I know that omna shots are supposed to hurt but shouldn't it be just at the injection site? I might have injected too fast. I counted 30 secs. Is that too short?

All good advice. But did you inject anywhere near the center of your glute? You may have inflamation of the siatic nerve, this will pass, but would explain the low back pain.

I did actually inject near the center but it was far to the right. I thought the siatic nerve was on the lower, inner side of the glute. If I had hit the siatic nerve wouldn't I have hit the ceiling. It didn't hurt at all. liftsiron, how long do you think I'll have to wait for the inflamation to go down? Thanks for the advice again guys, I was really getting worried.

Id say your back pain and the injection are unrelated. If you would have hit your sciatic, you would have hit the cieling. But sometimes you can get a hematoma or some slowly evolving process that might, and its a big might, compress on your sciatic. If this is the case, you would have symptoms DOWN the back of your leg, not UP your back. But its highly unlikey cuz your sciatic is so deep.

Here is a quick anatomy pic...

Maybe you got so pysched cuz of the juice you strained your back.

True, wait a day or so, but if doesn't go down, definitely see a doc b/c you don't want excessive pressure near your spinal area, and you definitely don't want an infection there.

Know what I mean bro?
