Ok this time my other buddy has Windows 95 and he gets the Windows Password screen when he boots up.... I know how to disable this in win98 and ME (thanks to venus) but for the life of me can not figure out how to do it in 95.....I changed the logon to Windows Primary logon...and still get the fucking thing...help...

thanks

-start-settings-control panel-network

-make sure windows logon is selected under primary network

-if it is not selected, well then select and I believe it will start copying some files or something.

-if it is selected--start-settings-control panel-passwords

-click on change passwords

-type in your current password and leave the new and confirm blank. click ok

-go to user profiles, i think it says something about all users on pc and same preferences. make sure that is selected

-restart

I am not positive this will work, but I would give it a try.

good luck

It doesn't give him the option to change passwords... I already thought of that....... I may have to go in the registry and find the key and delete it........ kinda pisses me off cuz I know its something simple that I am overlooking........ but thanks anyway Bo.....

what comes up when you double click on "passwords" in the control panel?
