Help with my girl

Alright I could really use you ladies help. Me and my girl have really been having it out about spending more time in the gym than to together. Then it's been even worse about gear. So now she's doing something I think is really cool of her. She realized how important it is to me so she wants to start going to the gym together. This may slow me down but I think I'll benefit in the end. So here my question.

I think going through my workout may not be a good idea for her, so I wanted some tips from the ladies on what would be good for her. She is in good shape, used to cheer amd gymnastics but never really weight trained. she's about 5,8 and tiny, not sure of BF but somewhere next to none. I really appreciate any advice
 
So you're asking what type of weight workout to have her do??

She can do your weight workout, certainly, but not at the same poundage as you.
 
Thanx, I wasn't sure if that would be OK for her. I don't know much about how women's bodies react so I was a little afraid of over training for her.

We're really not that different. If she's never really lifted before, start her out concentrating on form -- the poundage will come later.

Men and women can train their bodies the same way. I train harder then most of the men at my gym, I'm just saying that so you know we can train the same way.

But hey if you don't want her training like you, there's Shadow's project thread at the top of the page with workouts and a diet get her to do that.
 
No, since she can do it she'll go through mine. And as far what's tiny, i doubt she weighs 120. With her diet, I've never been more jealous of some one, right now she eat any and everything. I'm a little jealous her metabolisms insane. Yeah she wants to gain weight she also was saying after we talked about that she'd like more shape in legs. I shoot for 20 times body weight in cals and 500 pro. What is good diet for her or are we close to the same there.
Sorry so many questions on one thread I'm not over here normally so getting it all out.
 
"What's a good diet" -- too broad a question. Please look at the thread I linked and also the "Shadow's Project" & "Project Summary" threads -- all of your questions are answered in those. You're asking very broad questions that can't really be answered responsibly in a single post. You can even take some time & print out the stuff on those project threads. And if you can get her to post up her current diet & training we can comment on that - it will give us an idea of what her habits are and also a context to present changes.

Sorry its not the short answer, but the information is there -- just takes a little time to read through it. If diet & training came in a box off the shelf at Walmart then we'd all be fat fucks with clogged arteries living on the Atkins Diet.
 
No letting her read that will probably be better than you trying to answer me, it's kinda hard for me to give specific enough questions for her about diet cause I only know what I see instead of everything.

I appreciate the help alot. I was pretty confused I thought there would be a big difference in female to male training, you all cleared that up.
 
Its pretty simple. Just different volumes of weights & lifting, sometimes different speeds of results, primarily because of estrogen... (hate estrogen...)
