help with growth

Just picked up my nutropin growth, but I don't understand how to measure the i.u's in the insulin syringe. My friend who gave it to me has been filling up to the 20 on the syringe in the morning and in the night and having great results. He says this equals four i.u.'s per day, and each bottle should last 14 days. However the box says that each 5mg solution will make 15 i.u's, so it doesn't add up. So how many i.u's on the insulin syringe equal one i.u. of growth?

First off, you have to know how many I.U.'s come in the bottle of Nutropin. I believe they come in 15 and 30 I.U.'s but I could be off. When you know that put it on the post and I can figure it out for you. But even it it is 30 I.U.'s the most that can last is a week and a half if taken 5 days on 2 days off. You friend was mistaken, secondly you will not really notice much of the Gh until around your 10-12 week.

Each kit contains two 5mg bottles, each bottle being 15 i.u's. I understand that it takes time to see results and plan on using for at least four months. I just need to know how far to fill up the insulin syringe to make 1 i.u.

M.O.D, the insulin syringe is one cc and measured as 10, 20, 30, etc., up to 100. So are you saying one i.u. would be at 66? That is a little more than half a cc.

I was under the impression that 100 iu = 1cc therefore 10 iu = 1/10 of a cc

Anytime I need to measure something in iu's, I go with a 1/2cc insulin syringe (it only goes up to 50 iu's) and it tends to be a lot easier for me to read...

no...it wouldnt be 66.

it would be 6.6....

this is how you do the math

a B-D insulin needle is 100 units:

starting at 0 2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20...ect ect all the way to 100.

so you take 100 (the full amount of a syringe) and devide it by 15 ( the amonut of you vial) which = 6.6 per one IU...

so you would fill it at 6.6 on the syringe which would be 6 and 8 mark...

Thanks M.O.D, I think I get it now. So if I take two in the morning and two at night, each time I will fill the syringe to just under the 14 line.

that would be correct....spread your shots out 12 hrs ..one right before you go to sleep and the other one 12 hours later....make sure you rotate site injections...

why nutropin?...if im not mistaken that is the one that has the extra amino acid?..192 instead of the typical 191...

i have used genotropin and saizen but im now using serostim which i like very much...this shit loves to eat fat...i retained a lot of water off of the genotropin

M.O.D, I am an inpatient person and the nutropin was right in front of my face, that's why I got it. I will probably switch to Serostim half way through.

Protropin is the one that contains 192, not nutropin.

good choice...i dont know about nutropin but i can no doubt give the thumbs up on serostim...im going to try humatrope later on in the year....i plan on doing 4 units a day year round...5 days on 2 off.....doing my primo and test cylce every few months...

Humatrope is too expensive. I would go with Serostim as you can get a 126 iu kit for $500. Maybe more or less depending on your connection.
