Help with CD Creator..

I have adaptec CD creator and Direct CD... I burned a few songs onto a disc and now I want to add some more songs.....however..it says the Cd is now Read/only and won't let me write to it. It is a CDR disc.. Thanks for any help...esp on how to leave the disc open for further music while it will still play in standard CD roms.. thanks

You can't add new songs to the CD once it's been closed. Toss the old one and burn a new one with the new songs. CDs are only like 50 cents nowadays anyway.

Also, I suggest you use either Nero or Sony CD Extreme instead of EZ CD Creator. There's a good reason that software comes with CDRS..... it sucks!

Sony CD Extreme is free. Nero is shareware, but that's easily remedied.

They're both just much better programs than EZ CD Creator. You'll burn much fewer frisbees.

I have burned my share of Frisbee's...and Wodin... I don't think CDRW's will play music in a normal CD player?? oR am I wrong??

The CDRW disk work for me when I convert to cda format.

I wouldnt recommend CDRW. I use only CDR. Make sure you copy at a speed that is compatible for your player/stereo/other. SOmetimes I forget and record my CDs at 8X speed and it wont play anywhere but my computer. I have to lower the recording speed to 4X for it to work in my car nad discman.

I use Easy CD Creator and it's great. I downloaded it at morpheus (musiccity.com) for a pirated version.

you can add songs if I remmeber .......once you click create new CD a window will appear.... then click advanced and you'll see 3 options one them is something like close session but allow writtings...while usually by default its Read only and close session......
