nah, too generic!

I like the name BOD SQUAD!

Body Armour
The Gym (that's what people will call it anyway)
Body Works

I like "The Gym"...clever

I used to belong to a Body Works

gym names are usually pretty fuckin corny

with a name such as that, you better deliver
and learn to not misspell

keep your logo black and white with strong simple lines
somehow pair a simple outline of an appealing male and female physique
and don't overdo it

you're appealing to the late 30s plus
the group with the money
don't overdo the bodybuilding physique
make it sharp and attract the broader audience
and have a short and powerful easy to recall title

make a name and image that will attract the largest demographic in your area
or one that is untapped with $$

DO NOT cater to your needs

do not be afraid to charge Premium Price assuming you offer a quality service

best of luck

We need more info before laying the money words.

Who will you cater to and what will you do exactly? Is this a personal training only place or open to the public WITH personal training as an extra? A!

it doesn't matter if he's in Minnebraska
that there is your marketing strategy
make the money come to you

how about Flab Busters! and you could make house calls to these fat chicks houses and give them a personal at-home workout if they are too ashamed to bring their lard asses into the gym.

Thanks so far for the replies,

you're appealing to the late 30s plus

You're right, late 30's to mid 50's is the approximate age group that will make up the majority of my clientle.
I want a short and easy to remember title, plus I want people to know exactly what type of buisness it is by just reading the name.

DO NOT cater to your needs

True, most of the clients dont want to have a big muscular look, they want more of an athletic/healthy look. I've been doing this for 6 years, so on that aspect I know what to do, Im just a little rusty on building the buisness from scratch, never did it before, but have been reading about it for months so I have a good idea what it takes. Im in the beginning process of it, still not 100% sure if Im going to take the plunge. I guess Im scared of failing.

Is this a personal training only place or open to the public WITH personal training as an extra?

It would be only Personal Training with nutrition as an option.

How 'bout "Body Engineers"

pretty catchy if i don't say so myself.

I do like that, I also thought of body mechanics too.
Body Mechanics sounds like you do auto body work. I don't really like that name.

Being that your audience is more the 30-50ish crowd that are not into bb etc, I think Body Technicians and Body Engineers is not bad.
