Help, need swollen feet relief!

I just came off of my contest diet yesterday. I haven't went crazy and ate a lot of junk food, sugars etc, I have kept it pretty clean, just introduced flavor and carbs back in. I woke up yesterday (day after contest) and today and my feet are swollen like hell! Realizing that the rest of my body is holding a lot of water as well and that the pressure is mostly felt in my feet due to gravity. I have cut my sodium back down to minimal and will lilely go back on my precontest diet if things haven't balanced out by morning. Is there anything I can do to assist in drawing some of this sodium out or diluting it? I have increased my water intake hoping it would dilute the sodium and help flush the extra away.

I had the same problem with my last cycle. I put on too much weight too fast and my ankles/feet swelled up pretty bad. It went away though in about 3 days. I just drank a ton of water and I was fine.

Thanx, that's pretty much what I figured, that it would go away and balance out. I had already checked with my dietician/advisor to make sure it was normal but, wanted to see if there was anything to speed up the reduction in swelling. My feet hurt like a bitch, it feels like someone has a water hose plugged into my skin.

Lol cankles do some calf raises... :o

It happens, especially to "carb up" days. Try 15-20min in the sauna and 5-10min n the steam room along with an hour of cardio and you'll be back to your normal self. :)
