Help!! Need 5044 Calories Daily!!!

i talked to my gym teacher today and he was calculating how much he needs to eat and so he calculated mine. if i want to get around 190 from 180 by the end of the summer with all the cardio and lifting i will need 5044 calories daily!!!!
where the hell am i going to get all this from.
with eating 1 gram of protien or a little more.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD SNACK ON AND ANY ADVICE FRO ME AT ALL.
I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS.

What kind of protein/carb/fat ratio are you trying to achieve?
 
Your gym teacher is confused...

If you want to gain 10 lbs of fat and 1 lb of muscle follow his caloric guidlines.

If you want to gain some LBM simple...start out by eating 300 cals over your maintenance a day for a week, and week 2 move up to 500 over.

3 lbs of LBM a month is a lot of weight to gain. The more rapid the weight gain the higher the percentage of fat to LBM there will be.
 
thats what he told me. he said 1 gram of protien per lb and basicly divide the rest between fat and carbs.
 
the mistake is the equation used for the calculation. I have never heard of such as it doesn't exisit. so by his method if you wanted to gain 20 lbs in 3 months you would need 10,088 cals a day. it does not work that way.

what is your caloric intake now ?
 
right now i havnt been keeping track this is my first time doing a weight training program and watching what i eat. its not 20lb is 10 (180 to 190).
 
I was just stating that's what the caloric intake would be by "his" formula for weight gain which is incorrect as that is not the way it works.

consume 300-500 (clean) cals a day over your maintenance cals and you will gain weight. it usually takes several weeks for weight gain to start which is why calories must be raised slowly.
 
Eat big and stay away from weight gainers, they suck.
