Help for a newbie

TLSrider

New member
Ok, here goes, my first post and I am sure I am going to get flamed right off this board. But here it goes anyway. I am 43 years old. I am in the gym 4 times a week, couple hours a day. I am 6' 2", 180 lbs. I'm in good shape and look a lot younger than my age. Problem is I am a hardgainer and I am interested in some anabolic help. Questions are, first off is my age a factor and secondly, with no knowledge of steriods at all, how do I get started. Please be gentle. Thanks .:fro:

Hi bro, age is not a problem... Firstly do you eat/train well? These will have a big influence on your gains. Secondly, do you know how you wanna build e.g cut/mass what are you looking for?

'size does count'

To your first question, you're age doesn't matter.
To the second, just hang around the boards for a while, making yourself know and gaining trust, and all will become clear to you. Definitely do not ask for sources directly on here!

I assume by the nature of your post that you've been reading the board for a while so now you need to spend time posting replies and asking constructive and intelligent questions! You'll be surprised at how quickly you'll start to pick things up and therefore be able to decide which steroids are right for you so you can plan your first cycle with help from some very knowledgeable people who will definately help in ALL areas once they get to know and respect you!
Later Bro

TLSrider, Welcome aboard!

I would suggest reading the Max-OT program (you can thank Mustang_18 for this one). This program has some good concepts, and I'm giving it a try myself :) Check out: http://www.ast-ss.com/max-ot/max-ot_intro.htm You have to register, but hey, its free. As far as the AS goes, hang around; there is a ton of useful info here and people are genuinely interested in helping one another. You'll find this site is very addictive. Mmm… got to get my next fix of clambuterol (another thread LOL). Timma!

read as many post as u can to get as knowledgeable as u can about A.S. and u cant go wrong. The guys on this board are very helpful and will point u in the right direction with all aspects of the iron game. good luck!!

these guys will help you out....but do your reading first

I just completed my first cycle. I knew nothing about gear....a buddy had just handed me some....and gave me a load of poor advice. I endured the flames and learned tons.

The mods and the vets are great guys...they are always more than willing to help.

i put on over 30lbs of muscle and lost ten pounds of fat on my last cycle.:D

First off, thanks for all the serious replies. I thought I was leaving myself wide open with those questions. I can understand the part about hanging around and letting people get used to me. So thats what I plan on doing. Reading posts and asking a lot of questions. G-Force you said something about asking intelligent questions, well seeing how I don't know anything about A.S., I am afraid my questions aren't going to sound very intelligent, so bear with me. Thanks Timma, I am going to start by reading the MAX-OT program. Just for the record, I do train very well, I eat the best I can, my work hours are horrible so its impossible to always eat 5 or 6 times a day. My build is tall and slender so right now I am concerned with putting on solid mass. Thanks again to all who posted. :fro:

BTW TLSrider if you're looking to add muscle mass try HIT and reduce your workouts to an hour or less! Cortisol production levels rise dramatically and Test levels will start to drop off after 1 hour!

Before even thinking about using the sauce, make sure you have the diet end covered. You arent going to grow just by working out and taking juice (at least not quality).Any jerkoff can put weight on a bar and lift it. It's the homework you put into the diet that makes the gains keep coming. Make sure you are taking in protein and carbs every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. It is a challenge but no one said it was going to be easy. Are you man enough?

Yeah bro...It's probably good to throw some AS into your routine at your age. And like everyone else said, just hang around for a while, you'll pick things up quick. Also, search around the net for some articles and shit like that.

BTW, you came at the wrong time, the most important function on the board is down right now...THE SEARCH BUTTON! When that's back up, use that as often as you can.

All I meant Bro was to think before you posted cos everybody here realises that people have to start somewhere, you will not get flamed for asking simple questions just stupid ones, but you've definately started off on the right foot by introducing yourself properly so I'm sure you'll have no trouble in finding bro's willing to help!
Good luck Bro! :fro:

Your never to old to start bro. This is a great board w/ tons of useful information, just keep reading and before you know it, you will quite comfortable with this part of the game.Good luck!

I am sure many here will be more than happy to help you. Before asking a question definetly use the search function. Most Newbie questions have been asked and answered a thousand times. My first tip of the day is all those emails you have now wanting to "help" you out with gear are from scammers do not send them any money.

welcome this is a great board i joined in recently myself and the bros on here will help you out with any questions just no pms lol..hope to see you here again.........t
