Otherwise, all goes well and time keeps moving along. I doubt I'll be deployed anytime soon. I'm still pretty worthless as far as my job goes. It'll be another 6 months before I'm deployable (unless the shit really hits the fan and they need huge numbers of bodies).

What else, what else....
I went into basic at about 220 lbs and 8% bf. In basic I dropped to about 206 lbs and 11% bf. We had a high pace of operations in sweltering heat and they fed us very little protein. In fact, my diet is still high carbs/low protein due to the chow halls limiting how much meat they'll give us. I am now back up to about 210-212 but still 11-13% bf.
As far as fitness goes, my pushups have dropped steadily since the first day I entered basic. They're really bad. Situps remained about the same. My running ability is vastly improved though. I can generally max my run or get close to it. 2 miles in about 13:30 or so. My goal when I'm able to hit the gym again is to put all my weight back on (plus some) shed some of this fat but keep my 2 mile run under 14 min.
I just don't respond to PT in a good way. Regardless of whether I do more in a week or less, I just don't improve. I NEED the gym!
