Ok now this really sucks. thats the phone call i got today from my ex. Turns out she has HPV and the only person she has ever done anything sexual with was me. So, she told me to go get myself checked out. What the fuck do i do?

i have only slept with one other girl in my life and it was only once. Im not sure if i could have got it from her. What about blood transfusions? could i have gotten it then?

turns out 75% of sexually active men and women have HPV. i really just wanna kill myself now.....
 
Do research. Last I read...it was more like 80-85% of all college students have HPV and most men never know that they have it...because they never show any signs.

Be careful of the woman though, she needs to be checked out often by her doctor.

HpV is very common. There are like 100 different strains of it, and only a couple do anything. 2 of them cause genital warts, but you would have noticed them already. Chicks need to worry about this disease more, cause some strains cause ovarian cysts, but since you dont have ovaries, you are all good negro man.

HPV, no big deal. 3 out of 5 people have genital herpes. That's right, read that again. 20 million people are unknowingly infected with Hep C.(which you get from blood transfusions by the way-not sex). Look at it this way: with HPV your one step closer to living like a rock star!!

On the serious side it really is not a huge deal. If she calls back and says she has HIV then you gotta worry. Sucks that you haven't banged allot of chicks and you already got something but what ya gonna do you know? It is more of a problem for females as stated before.

Depends on the situation...and NO. If one chooses to sleep with a woman without protection...they should realize what they are risking.

herpes isn't exactly something you get "tested" for... usually you just wait to see if they pop up... tests have like a 95% accuracy and they are not that easy to have done (unless you have a outbreak, then it is easy to test)...

BUT... i know how you feel... i was sexually active with someone who was positive for a long time... certain people, though not immune, are much less apt to catch it, while others are positive and go there entire lives without a symptom... that was years ago and i have never had a symptom...

one more reason i don't need damn condoms!!!(this is joke, no hate mail please)....

Very close JJ. The warts part is right, but 3 types are "aggressive" and can lead to cervical cancer. Annual Pap smears will prevent this. As for the guy, there is NO effect other than that you can give the virus to your next partner. Thus, female sexual partners of men whose previous partners have abnormal Pap smears (precancer) are more likely to develop abnormal Pap smears.

HPV is a different virus to herpes

HPV increases cancer risk in female vagina's and male and female anus's

but if its on a mans tallywhacker its not that bad

I just found out some interesting info on HPV. Turns out HPV is a virus that causes warts, not just genital warts. if you have warts anywhere on your body (like your finger) you have HPV. I guess it isnt really anything to worry about after all. the make it sound scary, but its just a stupid virus that causes warts
 
That is it, I am getting a chastity belt. Damn kids, don't you ever get checked for anything? I try to get tested for everything under the sun every six months (even if I am not having sex) so I always know that I am a squeaky clean little girl.
