Hello, And A Proposal

New member
Hello everyone, let me take a second to say it has been two years since i posted here under a forgotten name, and I have been monitoring this site for over 4 years. I seems not much has changed, and i am glad to be back....

My proposal is this, I have not trained in over two years...A relentless college program and serious girlfriend have reduced me to a overweight has-been. I have taken three cycles in years past with good results and used to be in great shape. It's time I got back there...

I challenge those of you with real experience(not those who have the most posts) to take on my struggle as your own, and help me turn my physique around over the next 4 to 6 months. Im currently researching every aspect I can think of from diet, supplements, workout regime, gear, to what i need to buy at the grociery store....I need your help in that even though i was in good shape before, I was very uneducated by this boards standards...

I think this little project will be a refreshing twist to the usual hum-drum posted here from newbies about whether DNP can be sprinkled on cereal!! (joke)....

If any of you are interested please respond and I wil be posting my stats for your analysis soon.....

To the rest of you, it's great to be in contact and I look forward to reading your posts in the hopes that I wil someday be educated enough to respond with useful posts of my own...

IMO, your starting this off all wrong.

DO NOT start by seeking the best mentor to direct you to the best program combining the best method of lifting coupled with the best ratio and type of cardio topped off with the best diet possible.

DO get your ass in the gym right now.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be a dick or anything. YOU WERE FIT ONCE. Your brain did not melt away as the fat grew around your waist. Get your ass in the gym and start NOW. All your researching and seeking the optimal methods of training and diet is great - BUT IT IS SECONDARY TO GETTING YOUR ASS INTO THE GYM NOW!

BTW, if your thinking about using AAS again, I challenge YOU to get in better shape than you ever have been FIRST.

Excellent point, and thank you for your advice...

I am currently back in the gym, still getting the soreness out as you can imagine....

And yes AAS are an option to me, however I understand the philosophy behind waiting until some point of readiness....If I chose to use at this point it would be as a base for a fat loss regime....I once heard that any fat shedding program should include a little Test...:)

But this could very well be false, which is why I am seeking counsel...Let there be no mistake, there will be no quick fixes or short cuts taking here....My knowledge of dieting and supplements is limited to what I know about what to eat and take when your already in great shape, but I know nothing about what works for competely out of shape individuals, and this topic is not often covered here....I think this could be a great earnign experience for all of us......I hope you will get on board.

Welcome back....

IMO it takes the same discipline and ideals to stay in shape as it does to get in shape....
