heisman trophy curse?

We all hear about guys winning the heisman and flopping in the NFL. So what are your opinions?

Does it really mean that they don't pick the best player for the award and it is primarily political?

Is it just a string of bad luck for the winners transitioning to the NFL?

Does the NFL teams automatically consider a heisman trophy winner just for that fact?

The Heisman is pure Wombat shit. Crouch won it last year. Crouch wasn't even one of the 10 best players, much less the best. His stats were shit. He was shit. And miami proved he was shit in the rose bowl. I pay no attention to it anymore. They give it to whoever is the upper classman, and whoever's team is the favorite. Has nothing to do with the performance. No one in the past ten years deservingly won the heisman.
