Im using optimum nutrion whey....would heating the shake to make a "hot chocolate/coca" harm the protien any? I dont drink cofffee int eh mornings but now thats its cold i drink hot choc when leaving the house....just got to thinking what if i just heat up my protien/milk. Anyone try/do this?

No,should be fine,I have even seen on some protien products advertising using it in baking or cooking, like in oatmeal and stuff,I would try it.

Bigmo...yeah ive seen that...and since it specifically says u can do those things I wasnt sure if they did something special to it so as not to harm the protien or if that was just how they were advertising and one can really do that to any protien

hmmm....
ever consider how protien is digested?
well if i remember biochemistry right, the enzyme protease breaks it down by "denaturing" the protien molecules

breaking it down to smaller usable units
amino acids
heat denatures protien also
that is why older people eat well done meat since it is easier to digest

i suppose that could also indicate why the furvor over BROKEN CHAIN amino acids

if this sounds condescending i am sorry
bit tired today
lol
had to work two double shift after my double workout day and not been able to work out since:confused:
