Heart Enlargement

What combination of drugs will cause heart enlargement? I read somewhere that it takes AAS + HGH for this to happen.

Lots of things hypertrophy your heart muscle. Any drugs that increase your systemic BP or heart rate will most likely cause hypertrophy (cocaine is notorious for this...for obvious reasons).

LVH left ventricular hypertrophy is a dif animal from an enlarged heart, dilated cardiomyopathy. LVH is usually used to describe a thickening of the walls of the ventricle, not necessarily an enlargement of the entire heart. Dilated cardiomyopathy is usually used to describe a global enlargement of the heart, chamber and all. Usually this accompanies a decrease in ejection fraction.

Right...but i think he's talking about hypertrophy. Increased systemic BP will also lead to dilation.

Believe it or not, weight training or athletics in itself can lead to the enlargement of your heart. It's a muscle like anything else and if it has to work harder to force blood throughout your body than it can grow. I know that AAS can accelerate this growth and probably HGH too. I went to the hospital a couple years ago after screwing up my potassium levels real bad getting ready for a show and after doing and EKG the next day the doc told me that my heart was enlarged alot. He did say that in itself this is not dangerous because I had built up a lot of muscle mass, but to keep an eye on it in the future.

Even cardio will enlarge it. I think it all depends on how intense you train and the frequency of your training. If a person had an enlarged heart i think going to lighter weights/higher reps and moderate cardio would reverse it. I think the heart adapts to the load put on it so wouldn't changing up your routine help? What do you guys think?

the main problem with an enlarged heart is
if it is a bigger muscle it will need more oxygen to feed it
so if you combine this with unhealthy /clogged arteries now you have a big problem
